WRAP OF WRATH

Teoksessa kaupunki näyttäytyy yksityisen draaman pelikenttänä. Haluan näyttää kaupunkitilan elementtinä, johon on kätkeytyneenä on hankalia vuorovaikutussuhteita. Kaupungin eri paikat saavat merkityksiä ja niihin liittyy muistikuvia muun muassa ihmisten välisten tappeluiden kautta. Teoksessa mies ja nainen kulkevat kaupungissa kohdaten toisensa kuitenkaan olematta samalla yhdessä.

In this piece the city is seen as a playground for a private drama. In the work a man and a woman wander in the city and face each other without being actually together. I want to portray city space as a field of difficult relationships hidden within. Different places of the city gather meanings and attach memories - for instance of private fights. These private experiences and memories create a city that is invisible to others, that way the experience of the city is always personal.
